Jacob and I discussed the scope of work and then informed me that his bookings were way out and offered some other options in helping to get my projects completed by the right people. I appreciated his honesty and feedback. Although I’m not utilizing them strictly because they’re too far out for when I need them, I am confident his team is more than capable of handling any job they say they can. Finding an honest handyman who wants to ensure your projects are handled properly goes a long way in this industry.

    Awesomeness is what I can say about Jacob and Helpful Badger. Jacob installed new faucets in my kitchen and bathroom and made sure another faucet stopped leaking. He also changed a saddle valve for my new ice maker and water Refrigerator. He and his helper, Hal, were very friendly, professional, punctual, and reasonably priced. I have already discussed another project with him to put up a privacy fence. I definitely would recommend this company/ handyman. Job well done.

    We hired Jake and Kelcie to replace two bathroom light/exhaust fans in our house. They were amazing through the whole ridiculous ordeal and we will absolutely hire them again for future general contractor type work. The details below are to share how they handled the comedy of errors (not their errors, just the way things were going). After removing one of the fans, they determined that an electrician was needed due to too-short wires that wouldn't reach the new fans. They sold me the light/fans and didn't even charge me for the time they were there, mostly because they had to essentially leave the house with a hole in the bathroom ceiling (that they covered in cardboard temporarily). They were super responsive to my texts and worked REALLY hard to connect me to an electrician in their network (who was very busy but still fit us in pretty quickly). When the electricians came to do the install, they let us know that the light/fan we had purchased wouldn't work in the downstairs bathroom due to no attic access. I let Jake & Kelcie know and asked if it was possible to return the light/fan. I received an "ok" via text and wouldn't you know it, they showed up at our house very soon after that text with a refund check so they could take the light/fan off our hands. I don't think I've ever encountered a company that was so good at customer service. Seriously.

    My faucet and garbage disposal problems at rental property was source of complaint for a couple months. Finally sought competent reasonable plumber to fix and thankfully and fortunately found Helpful Badger and my problems were fixed to good as new. Jake fixed not only wear and tear age related problems with faucet but fixed other problems under sink that were caused by incompetent installation of dishwasher by major appliance retailer.     The job was demolition of a floor to ceiling bookshelf ten feet long attached to the wall, removal of debris and repair of the wall. Two guys, including Jake got it done in slightly less than the time estimated, at slightly less than the price quoted. The room looked like nothing had ever been on that wall. Nobody got hurt and nothing was damaged. Can't beat that. Recommended.

    These guys are great! Had them install a ceiling fan and they did it in record time. We had some trouble getting it started and they reached out to the manufacturer on my behalf.     Very nice people who take care and pride in what they do. They arrived during the time specified. They cleaned the gutters and power washed the house in an efficient manner. They had me inspect their work, and advised if they saw any issues with the gutters and/or roof. Also liked that the job's pricing was up front on their web sight.     Yesterday Jake and Kelcie came to the rescue. I was turning over a rental unit last night & discovered the 14 years old disposal decided to retire, permanently. Helpful Badgers came at noon as scheduled & installed the new disposal. They also adjusted a couple other things too. The new residents were very happy to get the unit as promised.     The Helpful Badger team were incredible to work with. My fence came down in a wind storm and they were able to work with me to quickly replace it. They were speedy to respond to my initial request for a bid, collaborated on determining the design, and were amazing when it came to working me into their already full schedule. I really appreciated how willing they were to walk me through different parts of the process and they even showed me how to DIY a completely different/unrelated project. They knocked out the fence build in two days and on budget. I’ve had numerous neighbors compliment the finished product. In one example (a little extreme), they had to fit a door into a previous frame that was so “off” that it required adjusting the new one to almost the angles of a funhouse mirror.     We hired the Helpful Badger team when my husband and I realized we were out over our skiis. We wanted to replace a non-working medicine cabinet mirror with integrated LEDs with a regular medicine cabinet mirror. Seemed like an easy DIY swap...until it wasn't. The mirror wouldn't hang right and was in danger of crashing to the floor. We knew we needed help. What we thought would be easy for the Helpful Badger team required intense problem-solving and to get the screws to fit correctly, they had to be customized both in length and in the screw head (I didn't even know you could do that!). In the end, it works perfectly for us and the price could not have been more reasonable. We're really happy that we called in professionals because this is one job we definitely could not have done ourselves. I'm already thinking about other projects for this team. They'll be my first call!

    I am going in for hip replacement surgery soon and I needed someone to install some grab bars in my shower.     I’d recommend helpful badger because they cared about the quality of service more than getting business. An estimator came to look at a failing fence post. While looking at it, the estimator noticed the fence post was on a failing retaining wall. Instead of just taking the job, they referred me to a landscaper that would be able to fix both issues. They saved me from taking out the new fence post when I get the retaining wall replaced. I did not actually get a service from helpful badger, but everyone I interacted with was very nice and helpful.

    The second I met Jake and Kelsie, I knew they'd take great care of me. They quoted a very fair price for several smaller jobs that I had outstanding, and showed up on time with an apprentice that they didn't charge me for. They did excellent work, even the apprentice who was still definitely learning but really committed, and were flexible with me when the chandeliers due to be installed hadn't arrived yet.     Couldn't be happier with the folks from Helpful Badger. They provided sublimely excellent service on site surrounded by equally great customer service overall. And they charged a good, absolutely reasonable fee for their work. They even went out of their way to help. When I hired them for work in my house, I asked if they could drop by my Mom's house next door to check out how she could install an air conditioner. They didn't just stop by, they saw that a less intensive option was available, so they just did the work right there: Unstuck a stuck window and did the installation in about 20 to 30 minutes. I may regret providing this review, though. My only negative experience was that they weren't immediately available when I called. :-) Their earliest available time was a week out. That's not a problem. In fact, it's about half the time I expected. But if they keep making customers as happier as I am, they're going to be so busy soon that -- next time -- I might have to wait two weeks. :-)
